No. Our cream is specifically designed to have no negative impact on the quality of the tattoo, which is why PMU and tattoo artists like it. Remove it fully before the work starts.
The Cream lasts up to 3 hours, and some people report longer. Extreme Cream averages 3 to 6 hours. Gel gives 30 minutes or more per application. For a longer sitting you can reapply as necessary.
Apply at least 30 minutes before the appointment for the best effect, under plastic wrap. It can stay on your skin until it is time to clean the freshly tattooed area in your post-tattoo shower.

No. The Gel is not designed for use in advance. It goes on once the skin has been broken, which makes it quicker and more convenient. No waiting an hour at home.

Both are secondary anaesthetics for open skin. NPN Numbing Gel is our next generation formula at 8% Lidocaine and 2% Tetracaine with a vascular constrictor. Sustaine Blue is the water soluble gel many studios grew up on, and remains available.
